Quest Taekwondo Hull was founded in January 2013 by Senior Instructors Laura and Callum.
About Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a diverse traditional Martial Art and Olympic combat sport. At Quest Taekwondo Hull, we practice and train in all aspects of Taekwondo, including the traditional martial art, Poomsae and the combat sport.
Taekwondo originated in South Korea and is practiced worldwide.
Affiliation
At Quest Taekwondo Hull, we are affiliated with a number of organisations, to ensure that members have the opportunity to participate in high quality Taekwondo.
British Taekwondo
British Taekwondo is the National Governing Body for Taekwondo in Great Britain. All members of Quest Taekwondo Hull must have a British Taekwondo membership, which includes comprehensive insurance and access to competitions and events locally and nationally.
World Taekwondo
British Taekwondo is affiliated to World Taekwondo (formerly the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF)), which is the style of Taekwondo found in the Olympics. All Taekwondo Olympians have to be part of a World Taekwondo affiliated organisation.
Kukkiwon
All black belts examinations are conducted under Kukkiwon rules and regulations. Kukkiwon is the World Taekwondo Headquarters based in Seoul, South Korea.
Quest Taekwondo
Quest Taekwondo Hull is part of the Quest Taekwondo family of clubs, led by Chief Instructor Master Mike McKenzie (7th Dan). Clubs within Quest Taekwondo work together with a shared value and vision to give all students the best opportunities and experiences in Taekwondo.
